Jillian Conrad brings over two decades of teaching experience and a lifelong passion for inclusive education to her role as President of The Lettuce Lab. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with an endorsement in Cognitive Impairments and a Master’s degree in Special Education with an endorsement in Autism. Before founding The Lettuce Lab, Jillian served as the manager at Extraordinary Ventures Michigan, where she led employees with diverse abilities in growing microgreens in an indoor garden and in managing microbusinesses, including a laundry service and a small parts department. Her exceptional leadership and deep understanding of special education guide The Lettuce Lab’s inclusive programs and ensure that each initiative stays true to the organization’s mission of empowering individuals with disabilities through meaningful work and community connection.

Derek Jeffery brings over two decades of leadership experience in retail and production management to his role as Vice President of The Lettuce Lab. His precise coaching techniques and results-driven leadership foster operational excellence and empower staff to reach their highest potential. Derek oversees the development of efficient systems and day-to-day processes, ensuring that every aspect of The Lettuce Lab operates with professionalism, purpose, and care. His ability to build strong teams and mentor individuals supports a culture of continuous improvement and inclusion across the organization.

Stacy Pike brings a unique blend of academic excellence and professional insight to her role as Board Secretary at The Lettuce Lab. She holds three advanced degrees that reflect her multidisciplinary strengths: a Master of Arts in Counseling, a Bachelor of Science in Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. This well-rounded educational foundation equips Stacy with a deep understanding of human behavior, learning methodologies, and inclusive communication—critical assets in supporting The Lettuce Lab’s mission of cultivating meaningful employment pathways for individuals with diverse abilities.
